To be honest, I quite like the new Hawke tac 30 10x42. These seem to be quite bright optically and could be very useful with that half mildot ret. Not bad for the money. Might invest in one soon.

Pete, I agree, the EB's I have had (two) have been very good and I do like them. But I have a couple of very good 3200's with Japanese lenses and they work for me mate.

Lt. Chard: If it's a miracle, Colour Sergeant, it's a short chamber Boxer-Henry point-four-five caliber miracle.
Col.Sgt. Bourne: And a bayonet, sir, with some guts behind it.
