Very few grades will actually anodise any good.
A pro sand blasting cabinet and set up would be needed to fetch off or may be all week jobby on a semi diy and pressure pot.
I saw a chap with an anodised Steyr rail in blue to match his cylinder...wouldnt the Steyr rail be made of the same grade of aluminium as the Steyr action ? ie: if Steyr can anodise the alu to black, one presumes a normal silver one can also get the treatment ?
