Yes. Some scale ads confuse it with gm or g so just make sure it's 0.01gn

0.01grains/gn = 0.0006 grams so if it doesn't do grains then you'll get something that does 0.015gn with 0.001g scales. Which is probably why we may see rounding effects on some scale sets because they don't actually do to the 0.01gn, they weigh in 0.001g and do a conversion.
