I'm using a AA400 for FT at the moment. I bought a big Nikko after using a Bushnell 8-32x40 considering it an upgrade. Nothing wrong with either scope, the nikko at 45mag is a bit getting used to but getting good results.
Problem! on level ground the eye relief with scope as far forward as breech dovetails allow is not enough, cheek almost off cheek piece of stock but manageable. This becomes worse when on longer inclined targets as cheek almost off rifle and on butt piece when leaning back, body in tension all the time.
Is there a low rise extension rail that will allow me to throw scope forward about 3inches (or more) without height rise needing modification of cheek piece of stock to raise it to give correct eye alignment.
