Definatly try both 1st the S200 has a faster lock time, the S200 is also easier to cock then the S400 but the S200 is more fiddly to load a pellet probly not a issue for small fingers.

The S200 has a straight down pistol grip and you can slide the trigger blade back its on a dovetail for short trigger pull which even i do and im 6ft 4", the longer trigger reach on the S400 could cause pulled shots.

And if she gets into it, a external Huma Reg for a S200 costs about 85 this can usualy give you 70-80 regulated shots.

The finish on the S400 is vaslty superior though.
