I've tried both but still prefer SFT, I don't like shooting against the clock (although I have in the past and been fine - I tend to panic
) - shooting SFT is more relaxing for me, you have more time to think about the target and mainly being an HFT'er hold over comes more naturally than twiddling and since Chris sorted my gun ( big thank you!), I've done well in both HFT and FT Open's.
I have shot springer FT but found using clicks just did not work for me so reverted back to range finding and shooting hold over on 10 mag which was fine. It's what Clive does and it works for him
Any shooting is good fun, just go out and have a go!
