When it was dense pine woodland your pellet flight would experience minute deflections from both left and right giving the appearance of a relatively straight shot.
As soon as they cut the trees down we were left with anything up to an 8" swing to one side , I think this is well worth Grim putting some time into and reporting back his findings.
About as much use at field target , as a life guard at the Olympic swimming pool.
