Darren, I think you have got hold of the wrong end of the stick.
ie the grassy bits where the targets are, where the broken clays lie, and the car park, where you might camp, are wet, muddy etc.
The part you zero
from is under cover, has benches and seating and is concrete based, so it is dry and comfy
It is just you won't be able to use it for free on the Saturday, that's all. This is the committee ruling and there is nothing that can be done about it, I'm afraid.
All you have you have to do is turn up nice and early for your session and you will be able to check zero in the prevailing conditions, which might provide some helpful shooting hints for the day.
