If your happy with this you may wish to fit a shroud and ditch the heavy muzzle brake.
I read somewhere that the two piece shroud helps to prevent temperature issues arising so from a design point of view they were there for a reason.
I floated mine as I wanted the 900 slightly lighter, the FTP I have now ended up with just does not miss if I am on form on the day, accuracy is astounding.
It always was a great rifle design & the finish is fantastic, if you do float you can always undo it & revert back, it should not effect the warranty either.
