On the b-square it's like a gimbal yes. On the atp61's I use which are only elevation adjustable it's a sliding block. Yep basically loosen the adjustment. Clamp on gun and clamp on scope. Then nip up adjustment a bit then shoot, then adjust grub on rear to elevate. Get it where you want it. Clamp up adjustment on both mounts.

It takes about 20 secs longer than non adjustable mounts.

I've not used the windage adjustable ones.
