Toucan59 asked me to put this up as he has been getting requests for information
You can find directions on www.cloybank.net
If anyone requires camping you are most welcome to camp at Cloybank and if you are shooting in the HFT Masters it will be free. There are toilets but there are no showers as we are not a camping ground but we will find somewhere for you.
There is a cafe on site and it is open from 10am till 2pm but it will be open all day on shoot day. There is plenty of room and there are indoor and outdoor tables.
The range will be open all day Saturday and if you are shooting in the HFT Masters you will be able to use the range for free. If you arrive late on the Saturday we will even put the floodlights on and you can shoot till midnight
If you are making a weekend of it or bringing your kids we have an animal area wigh horses, pygmy goats, turkeys, and ducks and whatever else flies in and you can have a wander round there and it is always free.
The site has a great trout fishery and catch and release is available for £10 per day and it will be well stocked on the Friday before the shoot. There is also a USPGA set of putting greens and a 300 yard golf range which you can have a go at.
The range and hft course is at the top of a hill and we do let cars up. There is limited parking at the range but plenty of room in the main car park. If you are disabled or do not want to walk up the hill to the range we will be running a shuttle service so just jump on the club mini bus with your gear.
Active targets will be doing a side display to keep you busy and you can have a go at their electronically timed target systems and this is of course free and looks fun.
The HFT course will not affect our range so the range will be open during the shoots and visitors will be given priority but there is plenty of room.
