I enjoy my local range but it gets a little monotonous, so really looking forward to giving hft a go.
I will join a club in the future when I get more free time.
There is no series as relaxed as the Hunter series. The HFT masters is a great series from the couple I have shot, but is a national competition set to national standards by a world class course setter. There is a difference in the competitions but both will be welcoming to a new shooter.
Brians offer is a great way of getting some top tips and tuition which will really make a difference. Joining a club is not binding in any way, and you can use the courses set out to practice at any NEFTA club once you join one of them. If you fancy the NEFTA series just tell them you are a newbie and they will put you with a seasoned shooter to guide and help you.
