Do I sell up and buy something else (I did love my s400) and if so what's the suggestions and possible cost of such things also where to buy.
Fiddle with what i've got if so what do I need and whom to get things from.

Making your EV shorter, lighter and more compact isn't a massive deal, after having the EV, you might find going back to a sported type setup might be a bit of a let down.
An s400k tube will go straight on, taking 100 mm off the length. That makes a massive difference.
The standard EV muzzle brake is a weighty item, at the end of a big lever and does seem to add a disproportionate amount of weight on the front.
If you have a big custom FT stock on your ev, then putting the standard back on should save weight, or even getting hold of an RN or PT stock without all the metal adjusters.
I know Dave at SCR has fully shortened an EV for mike Everson, its a real light piece of kit now.
