There is no best range for zeroing in hft, I know people that zero from 17 yards all the way out to 40. Each will have there own reasons for doing it differently.
I'd say just zero at 25 yards at whichever club you go to and get in there and have fun
Why 25 yards? 'cos its the range I zero to
