"The use of windicators is allowed in ukahft events, our definition of a windicator is a combination of wool/string/feather of no longer than 12" which is attached to the barrel/action or stock & is designed to move in the wind to give an indication of its direction/strength. Electronic or mechanical devices are not allowed.
To keep in line with the UKAHFT "no adjustment" rule, the windicator cannot be adjustable in any way, this means that other than the movement of the wool/string/feather
it cannot be capable of being moved or folded between or during shots. If you have the wool/string/feather fixed to an arm coming off the rifle this arm must be fixed in position at all times during the shoot and no part of the windicator fixing can be used to support on or against the peg or tree (support)"
