Either way you are trying to establish wether it is the rifle/pellet or the scope introducing errors due to cross-over etc.
Velocity and twist rate can have an effect on the windage, but it does depend on the pellet used etc.

Bottom line is that I very much doubt that your rifle takes no wind at all, that just defies ballistics.
I did say light winds...not takes no wind!
