It only applies to all MFTA events Rob, as voted on at the MFTA meeting 13/04/16. I assume this will only affect other regions when they visit the MFTA ,like the Frayed knot for instance.
All the rule says is the rifle should be carried in a rifle bag or rifle slip, no need for it to be made of bullet proof material or Police approved locks fitted.
