Combro I can easily get alarming figures in what appears the same ambient light as much as 153ft/sec low just by firing 10 degrees left.
Infra red are not immune either unless in an enclosed box shielded from all external light.
Then add on the various types of muzzle blast tripping one or both sensors and certain types of silencers.
