Interesting, Ive found the same while chrono testing a rifle I recently rebuilt. AA 8.4s left the muzzle consistently 25-30fps faster than JSB exact 8.4s. Checked on two regged rifles. I presume the softer lead of the AAs allows the skirt to seal in the barrel better.
Quite worrying if you run your rifle within 20fps of the legal limit with JSBs.
