As you see blur on the edge of the plate bigger targets appear to have less blur.
A 30mm kill at 38 yards brackets the same as a 35mm kill at 45 yards and a 25mm kill at 32 yards.
Targets can be scaled up or down and placed so that they bracket a different distance.
Targets placed in the dark just into your blur appear more blurred.
Elevated targets against the sky look blurred when they would not be with a normal back drop.
Targets will holes in (alien head) look more blurred due to the amount of edge in relation to plate area.
It goes on and on! The course setters job is to find more new ways to fool you and make you miss!
