I read in the sticky on range finding (which is great ) that a target set down a tunnel looks further away, also if there is dead ground ( ground you can't see ) it looks further to the eye.
Are there any more of these little tricks? E.g. an elevated target, a target where there is a change in light ( shadows from trees ) between you and the target, or a change in ground cover etc. Etc..
