I'd 'imagine' the BFTA answer at the moment would be ... There is no change to BFTA rules at the moment, so keep shooting as per present BFTA rules ( Beanbags and kneepads as allowed ... and trial a roll/kneepad/mat if you wish ) ... until further notice.
Pretty much spot on.
As Shaun has said, it was agreed at the AGM to allow kneeling rolls in order to flush out the issues we may have, and to allow shooters to use them in preparation for the worlds.
So, strictly speaking the rules may jar or conflict, (4" bean bag / 6" dia roll in WFTF etc) but we're trying to cut people a bit of slack to determine the best solution.
These rules will come in force from the Inters weekend.
