Presently on option allowed is to use the beanbag to bridge between foot and behind the knee (the knee must contact the ground). This is the support offered by an ankle roll without the suspicious bits that stick out the sides.
If you use an ankle roll that can compress to 4 inches then that's the definition required for the bean bag.
I think a few in NEFTA have been trialling slightly larger rolls - 6 inches instead of 4.
Would we need to adapt the wording in the Main Shoot rules to allow a 6inch roll or will it just be a direction from the Comp Sec. considering that the AGM minutes note : It was agreed that individual shooters could use a kneeling roll to aid their preparation for the Worlds and to offer information for future discussion.
Mind you, I bet if we actually measured beanbags at a GP most people would fail the definition of a legal seat anyway
