now surely if your sat on your foot laces down then also your shin up to the knee will be grounded also.
Note that it says the foot should be upright and straight in line with the leg..... That covers a "laced down" foot which is quite legal and in no way gives anyone an advantage. You could just as easily remove most of the beans from your beanbag and achieve the same thing.
Let's face it you get more shin support from the beanbag as it conforms exactly to you're leg whereas the ground rarely does.
