Found that the mounts did not sit perfect on the AJP rail ie the dovetail was not deep enough ended up packing the top of the rail so when the mounts were tightened in pulled the mounts/scope down on to the rail problem solved . For packing I used pvc insulation tape which worked for me.
Thanks It could be, I've got the mounts shimmed with pvc electrical tape and it's been great, then 3 weeks ago ( Jim= v. Nice man) give me some mount higher things to raise the scope and help with my head position (much more comfortable now) so maybe they're not fitting the rail perfectly? Or my mounts don't like them?
Looks like I'll be refitting my scope tomorrow (determined)
