A simple fabricated lock would be two pieces of half inch ply either side of the trigger area. Bed a three inch roofing bolt into one side, stick some carpet or neoprene on the inside faces, push a plastic tube over the exposed thread then simply push the bolt through the trigger guard, out the other piece of ply and secure with a washer and a couple of nuts. Or drill a hole in the end of the shaft and stick a padlock through bearing onto a washer. Couldn't be simpler.
