Don't see the problem imperial or metric,you judge the distance and refer it to your own range chart.On my Zeiss, measurements can be 10,20,30, or 55;and they are neither yards or meters.When I started FT I used steps to range find and they certainly were not metric and probably not imperial either.It dosn't matter as long as you can transpose them to a competition range,the distances which you do not know anyway.If judgement and set distance comply its a system that works.Nothing wrong with good old English technology.
