There are many plateau's in HFT, each one you conquer elevates you to the next one! I would say that you have arrived at your first. My view on HFT is you need to shoot it for a year or so to find where your strengths and weaknesses lie then change your setup to help you where you most need help. As Mick says Lower mounts will make the close ones easier at the expense of making the longer aimpoints a little more spaced out. There is no right or wrong mount height, choose the height to make it easier for you where you are struggling.
