Sorry but I disagree.
A single-point sling is used correctly in a very definite manner, i.e. slipped over one arm and retained by a keeper and then attached to the rifle at the shooting point by a single clip. It is simple and effective for those that know how to use it.
This cannot be confused in any way by the US style bondage straps favoured by Rodney Boyce in the early 2000's.
