I have thought about free floating my hft 900, but I am informed that there is an aluminium channel which is both screwed and rivited to the barrel band at one end and the action at the other, so removal of this is not reversable and invalidates warranty.

PS I think IMHO, the fit of the stock (to the shooter) and the sweet adjustable trigger, would cost a fortune to replicate on any other gun so if the niggles can be sorted out, this should be a fantastic gun fro the price (a fair few if's there though).
Dead easy mate , its totally reversible , mine is anyway , the rivet is actually a smooth pin about 4mm, just remove rhe allen screw and a few gentlte taps on the pin removed it for me , no need for hammers and stuff, just a gentle interfeerence fit
