I recently bought a used Weihrauch barrel for my 2014 Steyr LG110 Hunter HP .177.
I was advised that it was bought by the vendor as a barrel blank and machined to fit the Steyr. He was using AA Field with good results.
A simple direct replacement for the standard Steyr barrel took me 5 minutes to fit.
I tried the AA Fields but now use JSB Exact Express washed and lubed (sometimes weighed too) and at 40 yards it's incredible! I do clean it but never less than 100+ shots.
Bag rested - it will shoot sub-8mm groups (even in my hands) at that range. It now outshoots my Steyr LG110 FT 2014.
Might be worth your consideration, when you're ready, as the blanks are cheap enough and a decent machinist should finish the job for you.
