Well.. I have Burris Timberline 4,5-14x32 with ballistic plex reticle and it is one of best scopes I had..
Also had SWFA SS 10x42 with Mil-quad and it has really good glass and very fine cross.
I was looking for mixture of this two.. Bright glass and bigger FOV from SS and excellent cross chair and small parallax error from BT ..
Friend just managed to buy last Vortex Viper in shop, so I decided to buy Diamondback HP - and both of our decisions were good.
I know that is a lot much better scopes, but all of them are well over Vortex price, so in my opinion Vortex optics is giving great performance for reasonable price..
Plus Vortex have lifetime warranty so its save to buy for springer ..
I have set up Vortex Db HP on my tx200HC and after 6 tins zero is still where I left it..
But.. like with all optics.. Is highly recommended to have a look thorough the scope before buy, because we all have different eyes and what is cool for one - may be poo r for others..
