Default .22 version no different

Was at Fort this weekend, where the wind was strong and steady, on the first day at least.

Did a 10 shot group with the GS and with my old AA-Classic (both .22). Same pellets, same velocity. The centre of the groups were exactly the same, 1 mildot at 30 yards. I am confident in saying that there is no wind-cheating properties of the GS barrel, at least, not in .22 flavour.

Maybe, in .177, the ratio of rifling to cross-sectional area is greater to the extent where the different rifling pattern might make a difference, but I shall let you chaps explore that myth.
