I used Brian's tips when I started and found them invaluable , especially along with the print out 10 mag targets for getting your exact aim points at different ranges
One important one missing is , learn HOW to course set
That will show you a lot more as well , I personally get a lot of enjoyment from it , especially the confused faces as people coming off the course, it all keeps it interesting .
Learning how and where to put targets and the influence of wind and light is worth months of shooting ,
An example , put a target along a wall with the wind blowing over it, the wind will generally pull the pellet down and towards the wall , generally against the wind direction , have a shoot at quarry , they love that one
