The course was set knowing the forecast was for a strong wind. There was no point putting everything out at 50 - 55 yards.
The idea was to try and get one hitable, and one tricky target in each lane. It's no fun getting beat up on each lane or going 5 or 6 lanes without hitting a target.
Great score at the top by Murph, but just as importantly, all but a handful got at least 50% so hopefully no-one went home beat up and everyone will be keen to attend the other rounds.
Hopefully some will get enough confidence to have a go at the GP at Millride later in the year.
