Whether it is the most mathematically appropriate system to measure the success of grown men shooting at tin chickens with a pop gun is another debate.
Firstly, this is not about me or what I scored at the weekend, it's purely about maths and margin of error. The weakness in awarding the top shooter 100% introduces false inflation of every score below the highest score.
So 33 of 49 adds +1.34%, if the top score had stayed at 45 then that inflation would have been +7.33% and so on....
