Default Same scope, two guns

Let's say I plan to use a scope on two guns. Both guns will have robust Weaver/Picatinny bases. Scope will have compatible rings.

I realize that it's impossible to have the same clicks for both rifles. But, what way could I optimize this best? Set both guns to the same zero and then reset my turret (assuming my scope can do that) and then use a click chart?

Essentially I can't afford two of the scope I want so trying to maximize my investment. Guns in question are a TX200 and a P70FT. Both will shoot at 11 to 11.5fpe. Scope heights will probably differ but maybe not a lot.

Any suggestions appreciated. I guess ideally the slope of the mount would put the gun at the far zero when turrets are "zero'd"
