Shooting off the knee you need quite a deep fore end or hamster on the stock but it still won't be as stable as shooting prone! It's one less thing to think about when you take the shot? Your very lucky & got "young" eyes though which is the biggest advantage you can get! Once you've mastered the basics you should beat us all?
