An excellent day in Pauls' memory with plenty of money raised for Cancer making it all worth while, although I have not quite dried out and my Pro sport is in bits drying after I literally poured the water out of the stock. I thought we had got away with the really bad weather in the first round when it eased off for a while, but it was not to last.
It was certainly a day that could have dampened the spirit of even the best shooters, but it didn't.
Thanks to Lori as well for the excellent company, who also shot brilliantly despite the weather and with a very creditable score.
Not being a regular springer shooter myself I think that it is great to see so many shooters going back to their roots with spring guns, and what a leveller it was today, with an even better course than last year.
Well done and thanks to everyone that put all of the effort in at Anston to organise it, it is appreciated.
certainly a day to remember!
