The 'top-end' FT scopes...
Hi guys, I've been out of FT competition for about four years. I'm hoping to return in the near future...that's part of the reason for asking this question...
In the last few years, there has been a noticeable increase in the range of 'top-end' FT scopes. I see an incease in Sightron, March, S&B...there will be others.
I have two Leupold 20-50's with 50ft adaptors. As you all know, the glass is fantastic and they are not a big heavy scope (unlike some i've seen). They do the job very well. Yes, they do suffer a little with temperature shift in the hotter days of summer, but if you know your scope, this can be corrected....
So, my question (eventually!!).
What makes the 'newer' range of FT scopes so much better..? Is the cost of these high end optics justified..? And finally, what would be the concensus of which scope is currently the best all-rounder..?
Over to you experts... thanks.
