some barrels take only a few shots to settle, others can take more even upto or over 50 shots.

It is all barrel and pellet dependent.
Dave, i have an FWB P70FT that was shooting well, decided to clean the barrel, it`s still not back to it`s original accuracy and iv`e run three tins + through it . Tried Bis mags and JSBs the JSBs were worse, i now wish i had not cleaned it,and left well alone.
