Default TX200 Titan spring

After having three poor AA springs on the bounce (pardon the pun) I've decided to try a Titan no9 in my tx. I've offered it up and although I probably could get it in with help or a clamp, its going to be hard work. It may just be that the Titan, being longer than the AA and having a wider wind and thinner gauge, works that way (like original HW springs). The effort required to compress it though makes me think it will be over power.

I'm going to squish it on bit of threaded rod to see if it takes a set and also measure it compressed, but I was wondering if anyone is using the Titan 9 and if so, did it require coils collapsing or removing or was it ok as is?

My TX is standard short stroke ( mk1/2) but with an ally piston. I'm looking to get the power around the 11ft1b mark.

Cheers for any advice.

I would like to agree with you but then we'd both be wrong....
