I bought one for 120 quid but I reckon that was very cheap.

There was one for sale recently for about 200 quid and it didn't seem to sell.

I suppose it's whether you have someone who is willing to pay decent money for an old scope.

You can't get any back up/ repairs now for these so if it has a problem you are looking for an independant scope repairer to try and fix it ... plus costs of posting etc.

I think the 50x went for more money than the 40x.

Is there any play in the sidewheel function?
