It has to be remembered that the "Lead Ammunition Group" was formed to look at the impact of lead in ammunition in various area's.
If there was going to be an outright ban they wouldn't be needed.
There is a big difference between a Clay Ground that could throw up 1/2 ton of lead per session and say an airgun comp. Individual airgunners provide an even smaller risk.
Shooting has good representation on LAG so all aspects should be considered.
