Excellent article backed up with practical findings, I guess I was one of the majority that took it as read that a higher scope has to introduce greater cant error which of course is proved wrong in that article.

One thing which is stressed though is that any variation in cant is bad, so for any height of scope a bubble is pretty much a necessity.
