That's the crux of the matter - set your gun to low 11's and test it regularly.
End of story really. If you have AT fitted and you find it's gone up to mid 11's - send it back to be turned down.
If however you have a gun with an external power adjuster that can be easily turned up from low 11's to over 12.. you're putting yourself at risk (although I don't think it's a significant risk)
