No-one knows how many convictions there are Brian.
I have a request in at the moment to the Department of Justice asking that very question.( the Home Office said it wasn't them so they forwarded my request)
I strongly suspect that my reply will be that the convictions for over power airguns are not recorded separately but are combined with other offences.
I don't have a problem with this as it discounts claims of how many or how few convictions there are for over power airguns. Incidentally if it's you who's convicted it matter little how few or how many others are.
If Terry Doe was campaigning for 20 years for a standard test that would have been whilst the FSS were doing the testing with their light, medium and heavy pellet. As near to a standard test as we've ever had. We now have no specified test at all.
Are you not getting mixed up with his claim that he was campaigning for a standard test projectile ?
