Vinny raised a good point - and it's one of the reasons I chose a TX over a 97/77 and that is that I can strip down the TX very easily without having to remove the scope and re-zero the gun afterwards.

That's a very handy feature to have on a springer if you're going to shoot it in competition. You can do that on the TX200, ProSport and LGU but it's not always possible on the 77/97 depending on how your scope's mounted and even then removing the trigger block is risky with the scope still in situ.
