When setting a "National" course I'm pretty sure that all efforts will be made to ensure that only fully operational targets will be used. O.K. you can still have problems with something breaking/moving but this is usually uncommon. Over all we are presented with ever improving courses to shoot and I feel problems with targets are getting less. Perhaps some call targets a little too quickly.

What would I like to see for the next season

The standard of shooting has risen over the years and we now have quite a large group of "Top shots". With this in mind the distances the targets are placed should "go Metric". This would increase the course "difficulty" by say 10%.

For supported "kneelers" that can be taken as a "stander" the "stander" should also be supported. It's unfair that if you can't kneel you cannot take the shot "supported" if standing.
