I personally think things should stay the same as they are. I have shot HFT for probably 3 years now and would say target failure has not been that common. So head marshal and target checker have the last say on the matter. The Decision that has been made take on the chin and move on also if you get a doughnut take on the chin and move on as well.

Also my view on no free stander and making longer targets bigger is that more and more people will get 60 out of 60 so really that is not the way forward and make things too easy.

It has been discussed before on here and probably in clubs as well a grading system would be better for beginners and the medium shots etc.

ie anyone scores 54 upwards is A this if score this on regular basis
anyone scores 49 to 53 B

anyone scores less than 49 C
